If you are a survivor, survive the timer and avoid exposure. If you become the threat, search likely hiding routes and close distance quickly.

Keep the camera angled toward open lanes and corners so you can react before the hunter reaches melee or laser pressure.

Crouching reduces noise and helps when scan pressure is likely, but do not crouch so long that you trap yourself.

Sprinting can save you, but it also commits your route. Save it for crossing danger or escaping after a sightline break.

A hiding spot is weak if the hunter can walk in and force you to run through the same doorway.

Phones matter to the survivor loop, but recording in the open gives the hunter an easy target.
